🛐 Introduction: Encountering God Changes Everything
Throughout Scripture, meeting God leads to transformation — especially in identity.
Examples: Abram → Abraham, Sarai → Sarah, Jacob → Israel, Simon → Peter, Saul → Paul.
Before God changes your name, He reveals His own — each name showing His nature and relationship with us.

🌟 The Seven Names of God
Name | Meaning | Key Insight |
Jehovah Jireh | The Lord Will Provide | God sees your need before you do and provides in advance. |
Jehovah Rapha | The Lord Who Heals | Healing is not just what God does — it’s who He is. |
Jehovah Tsidkenu | The Lord Our Righteousness | Jesus gives us His righteousness; we can't earn it. |
Jehovah Shalom | The Lord Our Peace | True peace is found in Christ, not circumstances. |
Jehovah Nissi | The Lord My Banner / Victory | God fights for us and gives victory when we depend on Him. |
Jehovah Rohi | The Lord My Shepherd | He leads, loves, and walks with us through every valley. |
Jehovah Shammah | The Lord Is There | God is always present — even when we feel alone. |

🙌 Jacob: “Hello, My Name Is Changed”
1. God Asked: “What Is Your Name?”
Jacob had to confess who he was — a deceiver — before transformation could begin.
2. God Changed His Name
Jacob became Israel, meaning “Prince with God.”
Honesty and surrender led to blessing and new identity.
3. God Touched His Hip — The Breaking Before the Blessing
Jacob’s limp reminded him of dependence on God.
Transformation often comes through brokenness.
4. The Lesson: Let Go and Let God
Jacob held on until he was blessed.
You can’t hold on to control and God at the same time — surrender is key.
🔚 Closing Point: God Changes Names and Destinies
When you meet the Great I AM — He redefines you.
You may feel broken, unworthy, or afraid, but God says:
“Hello, My name is I AM — and because of Me, your name is Changed.”
