🙌 Jacob: “Hello, My Name Is Changed”

1. God Asked: “What Is Your Name?”

• Jacob had to confess who he was — a deceiver — before transformation could begin.

2. God Changed His Name

• Jacob became Israel, meaning “Prince with God.”

• Honesty and surrender led to blessing and new identity.

3. God Touched His Hip — The Breaking Before the Blessing

• Jacob’s limp reminded him of dependence on God.

• Transformation often comes through brokenness.

4. The Lesson: Let Go and Let God

• Jacob held on until he was blessed.
